June is always a busy month at Co-Communications, with many clients hosting events before the school years ends and summer vacations begin. This June was no exception with Excelsior Printing (a division of Integrity Graphics) celebrating the opening of its new space in North Adams, Mass., the 16th annual CT Business Expo where Co-Communications hosted a Social Media Hub and participated in a panel discussion, and the Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s Mud Run. Our Connecticut team also joined client the MetroHartford Alliance in celebrating the 10th anniversary of Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) – a great night held at Front Street, in Hartford’s newest dining and entertainment destination.
In keeping with our event theme, we helped client AdminaHealth develop a tradeshow booth to take to the SHRM Annual Conference. A healthcare technology company specializing in helping HR executives to streamline self-funded health plan administration, AdminaHealth needed an eye-catching booth design that was on-message and on-brand.
Beyond what we lovingly refer to as event season, our team was busy launching new websites, developing brands and securing media coverage for a broad range of clients.
New website designs from Co-Communications
In May, we launched a new website for Emerald Tree Care and implemented an email marketing campaign to drive traffic to the new website. This responsive design is built in an open-source CMS, which allows the client to easily make updates and ensures a positive user experience from both mobile and desktop devices.
In June, we launched the Northeast Private Client Group website, which is designed to complement revamped collateral materials we have developed for the investment brokerage firm over the past year. The site will serve as the hub of an inbound marketing program, which includes blogging and developing premium content such as whitepaper and toolkits. This responsive design is built in an open-source CMS, which allows the client to easily make updates and ensures a positive user experience from both mobile and desktop devices.
Helping client “get ink”
With roots as a traditional public relations agency, we understand the importance of a compelling news hook and a story that will resonate with readers, listeners and viewers. The 110th anniversary of Pelham’s historic Sanborn Map Building met all of those criteria. In addition to securing widespread media coverage for the milestone occasion, April 20, 2016 was declared Sanborn Map Building Day by Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino.
June also marked our fourth “Blitz Week” collaboration with End Hunger Connecticut! to help increase participation in the federally-funded summer meals program which provides free, nutritious meals to children and teens ages 18 and under when school is out. To help maximize visibility for the program, we coordinated in-studio interviews with the local ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates during “Blitz Week” in addition to targeted media outreach in each of the blitz communities.
Creating a Platform to Share Personal Legacies
In May and June, we worked with Southport-based investment bank Carter Morse & Mathias to launch “Creating a Legacy – Life After a Sale.” This online series gives unique insight into some of the successful people that CMM has advised on sales transactions, and what they are doing with the resulting time and money to help create personal legacies. As a result of the marketing efforts surrounding the series, the firm has been getting positive feedback from referral partners and the targeted media.
Looking ahead to July and August, we will be helping an education client to rebrand, refining the integrated marketing strategy for an arts and culture organization, designing collateral materials for a nonprofit client’s 30th anniversary gala, developing websites for medical and corporate entities, and continuing to leverage public relations, social media, branding and marketing to help our clients break through the clutter, drive action and generate measurable marketing ROI.
