The 25-year-old women-owned firm founded by CEO Stacey Cohen has long been recognized as one of the region’s most creative and strategic communications shops in the metro New York area, while representing a broad and diverse cross section of client industries including real estate, economic development, education, healthcare, technology and the nonprofit sector.
“Co-Communications is committed to telling our clients’ stories in creative ways that build mind and market share.,” Cohen said. “The driving force behind our success is a steadfast emphasis on active collaboration with our colleagues and clients. We are so grateful for our stellar team of ‘co-stars’ and the wonderful clients we serve.”
Responding to the ever-changing communications landscape, the firm whose roots are in PR evolved to become an integrated, full-service agency retaining an experienced team of public relations pros, social media strategists, branding experts, graphic designers, web developers, and inbound marketing mavens. In 2015, Jessica Lyon, Executive Vice President, COO, and head of the Connecticut office, was elevated to serve as Partner, playing a key role in managing day-to-day operations and leading the firm’s expansion. Within the past few years, Co-Communications has grown its diverse service offerings to help clients overcome significant challenges across all industries, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“While the firm continues to grow, we have remained laser-focused on helping our clients surpass their business goals with compelling media stories, relatable branding, and sophisticated digital outreach and engagement campaigns that drive results and produce significant return on investments,” Lyon said.
Invited guests clinked glasses of signature cocktails, including a “Make Yourself Perfectly Clear” and “Publicitinis,” while toasting the firm’s positive impacts on client and community initiatives dating back to 1997.
The program also acknowledged longtime clients, including the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester, Co-Communications’ first client whose partnership with the firm extended 18 years.
During the celebrations, Mayor of White Plains Thomas Roach offered particular praise of the firm reflective of its role providing best-in-class services, declaring the day as the “Official Co-Communications Day” in White Plains.
