Simsbury, Conn. –– Co-Communications, Inc., a full-service public relations and marketing firm, was recognized with ten Big W awards by the Ad Club of Westchester, during its annual gala at Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, NY on June 10, 2009 and three PRSA Mercury Awards in the Strategic Campaigns category from the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA), at its annual Mercury Awards Banquet, held at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, Conn. on June 11, 2009.
Co-Communications received awards from the Ad Club of Westchester for marketing, public relations, advertising, direct mail and web-based campaigns developed on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester, Mira Women’s Imaging, Palmer Hill Homes, My Earth Too, Chuckie Goodnight Foundation For The Environment, Music Conservatory of Westchester, The Gym, and, Jennifer Baldinger.
Among these honors, were four Big W awards recognizing the company’s Simsbury, Conn. satellite office. Co-Communications received Silver awards for its efforts in developing a website and sales kit for New York City-based My Earth Too!, a manufacturer of 100% organic cotton apparel, created in collaboration with White Plains-based Berlin Productions; a Gold award for the development of an eco-friendly calendar contest for children nationwide on behalf of the Brewster, NY-based Chuckie Goodnight Foundation For The Environment; and, a Silver award for a public relations campaign executed on behalf of Stamford, Conn.-based Palmer Hill Homes.
From PRSA, Co-Communications received a Gold Mercury Award for a Strategic Campaign in the Marketing Products and Services category, entitled ‘Technology as a Title Tool.’ Prepared on behalf of TitleVest, a Manhattan-based provider of title insurance and related real estate services, the campaign highlighted TitleVest’s longstanding commitment to establishing an industry niche with its creation and implementation of proprietary technology.
In addition, Co-Communications received two Silver Mercury Awards for campaigns developed on behalf of Gemm Learning and Palmer Hill Homes.
‘Building Awareness of Learning Interventions’ won Silver in the Strategic, Marketing Products and Services category, and profiled Gemm Learning, a provider of learning intervention services that sought to improve the way children learn, and offered a unique alternative to tutoring.
‘Attracting Buyers in a Challenged Real Estate Market’ won Silver in the Strategic, For-Profit, Reputation & Brand Management category. The campaign highlighted Palmer Hill, a luxury condominium and town home community in Stamford that celebrated its grand opening during the decline of the real estate market.
