Metro New York and Connecticut – Co-Communications – a full-service public relations and marketing firm with offices in Farmington, CT, Westchester, NY and midtown Manhattan – has announced the promotion of Jessica Lyon to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
Lyon, who previously served as Co-Communications’ Senior Vice President, has been with the agency for 10 years and was instrumental in the firm’s expansion into Connecticut. Lyon opened the Connecticut office in 2006, swiftly building a strong base of clients in healthcare, real estate, finance, education and nonprofit. With her leadership, the Connecticut location has garnered several awards, including the Public Relations Society of America CVC Chapter’s ‘Best in Show,’ and been named the CT Association of Nonprofit’s exclusive endorsed partner for marketing and public relations.
As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Lyon will supervise a team of public relations professionals, marketers and writers across three offices. Lyon will also assist with overall strategy, operations and business development.
