New York, New York – Jessica Lyon, Partner, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, at Co-Communications, Inc., will be a featured guest speaker at the PRSA Tri-State Conference: “Thinking Differently About PR” on Oct. 20. The Tri-State Conference will be will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at New York University’s Kimmel Center. A reception will follow the full day of learning and professional growth.
As a leader and innovator at the forefront of the communications industry, Lyon will be featured on the panel, “Tri-State Game Changers: Best of the Best.” The panel of esteemed public relations and integrated marketing experts, hailing from Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, will share their insights and experiences creating award-winning campaigns for nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Key takeaways will include best practices, lessons learned and tips for achieving better results, regardless of budget.
Lyon will focus on the case study of Co-Communications’ partnership with client, Grace Smith House, and the domestic violence agency’s successful effort to educate teens through two award-winning online quizzes on healthy relationships and digital abuse. Lyon, who heads Co-Communications’ office in Farmington, Conn., has an extensive background in journalism as a former reporter for Hometown Publications in Shelton, Conn. and editor at Hamden Journal and Stratford Star. Lyon has earned many awards and accolades for various public relations and advertising campaigns, and has placed her clients in national publications like USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Newsday.
