Hartford and Farmington, Conn. ––The Connecticut Association of Nonprofits today announced Co-Communications, Inc., a full-service public relations and marketing firm with offices in Connecticut and New York, as its endorsed partner for marketing and public relations. The news was announced during the CT Association of Nonprofits 10th Annual Nonprofit Conference, held at the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale in New Haven, Conn.
“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with the CT Association of Nonprofits,” Jessica Lyon, Vice President, Co-Communications, said. “The Association is a valuable resource for Connecticut’s nonprofit community and we look forward to working alongside the CT Nonprofits team to help nonprofits across the State to crystallize their messaging, get their voices heard and achieve meaningful results.”
Co-Communications began working with the CT Association of Nonprofits in 2009, serving as the sponsor of its annual toy drive, which benefits NBC Connecticut’s Joy of Sharing campaign. Since that time, the relationship has evolved, with Co-Communications serving as both the Association’s agency of record and as the content provider for workshops on nonprofit communications plans, social media marketing, and integrated marketing communications.
“Many nonprofits have expressed a need for a professional, diversified communication presence to complement their internal development, advocacy and stakeholder messaging,” said Mark Berardi, Director of Membership and Training at CT Association of Nonprofits. “Co-Communications has a proven track record of achieving results for nonprofits in this arena. It was a natural fit.”
Co-Communications has a long-standing history of providing communications counsel to nonprofits across Connecticut and New York. The agency’s nonprofit experience, includes: 2-1-1 Child Care, 2-1-1 EMPS, Adopt-a-Dog, Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Westchester, CT Association of Public School Superintendents (CAPSS), End Hunger Connecticut!, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Music Conservatory of Westchester, and United Way of Westchester and Putnam Counties, among other organizations. The agency has received numerous awards from the Advertising Club of Westchester and PRSA for its nonprofit work, including two The Journal News Best of Show Awards from the Advertising Club of Westchester for its Guiding Eyes for the Blind public relations campaign (2009) and Westchester Children’s Museum integrated marketing communications campaign (2011).
